Zen Family Villa is the fourth stone house as you walk into Apanema Mindfulness Resort in Lefkada Island, Greece. It is the largest villa in the complex, built on three levels with a lovely balcony and 2 large terrace with nature and pool views.
In the complex, there are 3 other stone villas for smaller groups of 2-4 people.
The first one – Peaceful Villa. The second one – Wellness Villa. The third one – Wellbeing Villa.
Apanema Mindfulness Resort Lefkada is a place for people looking for self discovery, quality time alone or with the close ones. For the ones who feel disconnected from nature and natural. Also, for the ones who want to bring along their pets.
Our chosen location is nature abundant and we added our own little things to make the experience of staying here, a very special one.
Our Resort is fully fenced and gated. All our guests have access to the swimming pool (heated between October and May), massage pavilion, sauna, practice studio and the Zen Garden.
The location is splendidly embedded in nature in the mountain village Asprogerakata of Lefkada Island, Greece. At a short driving distance to the famous beaches of Lefkada’s West Coast, to Karia, the most traditional village on the island, and to Lefkada Town, the capital of the island.
Comfortably sleeps 2-6 travellers. Chic, beautifully designed and furnished. Two large lovely terraces with endless green views. Seamlessly blending rustic elegance with contemporary comfort.

Outdoors of Zen Villa in Lefkada
The nature around our pet-friendly accommodation in Lefakda is not really our merit. It is the place. It is the climate. It is the soil. Everything is green. All year round.
The houses are built in stone. This means the temperature inside is nice and constant. The stone is natural insulation.
Our guests love the balcony and 2 terraces of Zen Villa. They tell us the energy is so good here they don’t want to leave… Maybe you can feel it in the pictures?

TERRACE
One large terrace with dining table with access from the living room. A balcony and a second large terrace with loungers with access from the master bedroom.
GARDEN
The grounds of Apanema Mindfulness are fenced and secure for families with children. All the outdoor spaces are for our guests only.
Indoors
At the ground floor, a bedroom sleeping up to 4 guests in two twin beds and 2 sofa beds in one large room. A bathroom with shower is attached to this bedrooom.
At the first floor, the open space living-kitchen that exits to the large terrace, with a dining table and views to the pool and green valley. A guest bathroom is in the living room.
2 people sleep in the master bedroom, at the second floor, with a shower bathroom, a large terrace with loungers and balcony. The balcony faces a green plot, and no other buildings.

Comfortable queen bed in the bedroom for 2 people. Private bathroom with shower.
SECOND BEDROOM SLEEPS UP TO 4
Two twin beds and 2 sofa beds. Private bathroom with shower.
KITCHEN
Nespresso coffee maker, electric stove top & oven, toaster, fridge, freezer, cookware and utensils, dishwasher, salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, olive oil, vinegar, oregano.

HEATING & HOT WATER
The hot water and electricity are produced with solar panels in summer. During winter, the hot water is made with the heat pump.Please allow a few minutes for the hot water to come on the pipe.During colder months, the villa is heated with electric fireplace, air conditioner and the portable heater.

Iron, washing machine (the washing machine in Zen Villa will be installed in december 2024).
TERRACES
Hard roof terrace for dining with wooden dining table and chairs. Sunny in the morning, with natural shade after noon. Excellent for hot summers in Greece.

SWIMMING POOL
Large 70 sqm pool, 1.8 m largest depth.
The baby pool has a height of 65 cm (the rounded side in the images).
The swimming pool is heated between October and May.
Free to use for our guests.
SWEDISH SAUNA
Our outdoors sauna by the pool is free to use for our guests. It is excellent for colder days in autumn, winter and spring.
MASSAGE HUT
Guests can ask for a massage in the Massage Hut, Zen Garden or at the Villa. There is a fee for each type of massage.
PRACTICE STUDIO
Glass pavilion with yoga mats for mindfulness practices. Free to use for Apanema Mindfulness Villas guests.
Yoga sessions can be booked in advance for a fee with our Yoga Instructor.
ZEN GARDEN
In the ZEN garden there is a deck for practicing Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Pilates – any mindfulness training you choose to perform – either in complete solitude, or with assistance of an Apanema Mindfulness instructor.
Free to use for our guests.
PRIVACY
Our 4 villas resort is surrounded by abundant nature, green trees, olive grove and vine yards. There are no other buildings around. This is nature's merit, but still, a great facility for our place.

This is the cancellation policy when booking directly with Apanema Mindfulness.
We are flexible, please keep in touch if you need to cancel or modify your dates.

Cleaning and changing of the towels and bed linens is done every 2-3 days, depending on the length of your stay.
Cleaning can also be done per request.
Please smoke and vape only outdoors on the terrace or anywhere on the premises.
During night time, we kindly ask you to keep sound levels at a nice level, for everyone else in the resort to have a good night sleep.

The entire area is surrounded by green olive groves and vineyards and the ambient is nice and quiet.
Yes. There is a barbecue and bbq utensils that guests of Apanema Mindfulness can use by the pool or next to their villa.
Fresh water from Lefkada’s mountains is offered to all our guests.
There is olive oil from the old olive trees on the premises, in all villas. Salt, pepper, vinegar, sugar, tea, coffee. On the house.
Espresso fit capsule. We offer some coffee capsules on the house for the first days.
Yes, you can book our masseur to get a massage at the villa, or in the Zen Garden.
Yes, there is a very good bakery in the village with fresh home made products. It is open all year long and is great to grab things for breakfast to enjoy on your terrace. This bakery is called To Paradosiako and here is how to get there with Google Maps. A couple of minutes to drive there.
There are more tavernas in Karia, the most traditional village in Lefkada. You find them all in the square of the village. Here is one of the taverna on Google Maps.
In Tsoukalades there are other nice options for dining out. Here is a taverna with home made traditional Greek Food.
Many other places to eat out, especially in season are in Agios Nikitas.
And of course, Lefkada Town has plenty of tavernas and bars.
