Massage

Swedish massage

Swedish massage is a gentle massage that focuses on the surface layers of the muscles. The technique increases blood flow and lymph drainage, promotes relaxation by releasing muscle tension.
Swedish massage its better suited for people looking for relaxation and tension relief.

Deep Tissue massage

Deep tissue is an intense massage technique that uses firm pressure to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia. Ιncreased pressure is very effective in releaving chronic pain and stress, can help break up scar tissue by improving lymphatic circulation and drainage to improve flexibility and range of motion in the area of the scar tissue.

Face & Head massage

As the name suggests, Head/Facial Massage is the use of a massage technique on the face, scalp and neck area. It enhances blood circulation, and helps relax the muscles in the head and neck, areas that muscle tension can lead to migraines. It rejuvenates the skin, slowing down ageing.

More Apanema Wellness

Aromatherapy is an art – an aesthetic healing art.

This complementary healing method known more than 6,000 years uses essential oils from plants (flowers, herbs, or trees) for health and wellbeing. Essential oil molecules are so small that when applied to the skin; they are able to pass through the outer layer of skin, the stratum corneum. From here the essential oil molecule passes through the dermis, into the capillaries, and into the bloodstream boosting your self-healing ability

Cupping has been used for centuries among both Eastern and Western-based health care practitioners. One of the oldest medical texts to mention cupping therapy is Eber’s papyrus (1550 B.C.) from Ancient Egypt, though cupping is a part of many ancient healing systems, including Chinese, Greek, Korean, and Tibetan. Myofascial release cupping can be used as a stand alone treatment or integrated into the typical remedial treatment with manual techniques that include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, soft tissue release.

A trigger point is a pressure-sensitive area in the muscle that is frequently linked with pain and stiffness. Trigger points can be extremely painful, limiting your range of motion and making it difficult to do your daily activities. There is no single type of massage labeled a “trigger point massage,” a massage therapist can use a number of different techniques to loosen these knots, including myofascial release and deep tissue

A therapeutic and meditative experience whereby you “bathe” in the sounds and vibrations produced by different instruments such as gongs, tuning forks, and crystal bowls. Through these sounds and vibrations, your mind enters a meditative and relaxed state. This brings about healing at mental, emotional, and physical levels.
